Frijoles negros is a staple on the dinner table. As a traditional food on Mexico, it is very common to find different versions of it. It’s sometimes fried in a pot like salsa for tacos or for tortas, and sometimes as a soup. Our version of frijoles negros is made with guajillo chile and epazote which is an aromatic herb native to central America. It has a strong flavour that adds depth to dishes.
